Sequence, routines you can press play on
Build timed routines from eight kinds of steps, then hit play and just follow along.
Sequence is a timer that’s really a routine builder. You chain together steps, countdowns, rests, intervals, repeats, checklists, and a few others, into one flow, then press play and the app walks you through it. It started as a better workout timer for myself and grew into something I use for all sorts of timed routines.

It was my first real go at Live Activities, so the current step and the time remaining show up on the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island while it runs in the background. I also let Apple’s on-device model draft a routine from a plain description, which felt like a small miracle the first time it actually worked. It ships in 38 languages, which is its own quiet lesson in never hardcoding your strings.
It lives at sequences.workstation4.com.
