A day at UMSL, and family
Getting set up for college, becoming a Triton, and an evening at Grandma's. From the old hertzelle.com blog.
Today I went to UMSL for a tour and to get the last-minute things out of the way: parking pass, student ID, books. In total the day cost me nearly $800, thanks to the books. Isn’t that crazy? Whatever, that is just how it goes, and things only get better from here.
I even got a free UMSL t-shirt, so I guess I’m officially a Triton now.
A small thing I noticed: I have a lot of threes in my life. Trihedron, Trigonometry, Triton, and on it goes.
Afterward I went to Grandma’s house for a quick dinner and to hang out. I found a magnifying glass and had a little too much fun with it. Then we took a walk around the lake. A good day.
